Marrakech · medina, Koutoubia and souks

Guided walking tour of the Marrakech Medina with a local guide. We start at the Koutoubia minaret — twin of Seville's Giralda — and continue to the Bahia Palace. We wander the traditional souks watching carpet weavers, babouche makers and a vast range of artisans at work. Visit to a Berber pharmacy where they share their «little secrets». In the afternoon: free time, shopping, a Medina stroll and the art of bargaining. Overnight in a Riad in the Medina or 5* Hotel.

Departure around 09:30 by vehicle and driver to Essaouira (approximately 190 km on the road). We recommend a fresh-fish lunch by the harbour, a stroll through the walled medina and discovering the very particular Atlantic atmosphere that earned the «Pearl of the Atlantic» its nickname.
